We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Fells and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Justin, what’s one piece of conventional advice that you disagree with?
I disagree with “Fake it until you make it.” Well, I believe in belief itself. You don’t have to fake an idea to make it; you have to think it’s possible & act on “it” to bring it to life. “Faking it” creates an inferior self-image as if you don’t deserve what it is you’re after. On the contrary, you deserve whatever it is you set your mind to. The power of thought and imagination make a reality “Real,” not the other way around.
Simply put, don’t go faking it. Instead, believe it as if you’ve already achieved it. Then achieve it.
